The unit's top cutout section includes 16 sixth-size pans with a 4-inch depth, and 12-inch-deep, removable cutting board is positioned in front of the food pans to streamline ingredient preparation. When the unit isn't in use, users can pull down the roll-top lid to shield the food pans from contaminants.
